Still ruby with good transparency. The nose is immediately chestnut. More airy than its predecessor, more evolved despite being a year younger, with additional pot-pourri notes. The alcohol is very well balanced revealing itself only indirectly with notes of coffee liqueur and under-ripe cherry. Enveloping, structured and drinkable even right away.

A bottle that inside has an almost unrepeatable magic. It bewitches your heart with notes of cocoa and tobacco. Like a “best of” of a great international band: one of those CDs you would never do without, and would loop on long car trips. It is the best of the best that the Saragano winery can give its loyal winelovers. A must-have for wine connoisseurs. In other words: once you try it, you would never stop drinking it.

From the best grapes of the Cru “Palazzo” comes this Riserva, which, thanks also to the great reference vintage, is decidedly more ready and complex than the previous wine. The nose has aromas of blackberries and blueberries, bay leaves, pipe tobacco, humus, black spices, cedarwood and rhubarb. On the palate its alcoholic empire is masterfully modulated by an important acid shoulder. The tannins are vivid but well melded within the structure of the wine, which flows quickly to an interminable fruity persistence.
